Day 86

Soooooooooo, the pumpkin plant on the left seems to be dying and the pumpkin plant on the right still has the white mildew fungus despite my chopping and burning. I've given up on the milk and apple cider vinegar solutions since the fungus is still there.... (which is why the one on the left is really dying). I wonder if ants are a problem for pumpkins because they are all over the green leaves. They are actually the cause of the white mildew fungus! Bc of the ants, I watered my pumpkin plants' leaves and everything! Apparently, you don't want to water the leaves at all and only water at the root area specifically to prevent this white powdery mildew.

Here's my pumpkin! I think it's growing a lot more slowly now since its vines are recovering my from fire...

Today, I found my cherry tomato plant face down on the ground. :( I guess lack of water made it so weak, it couldn't support its own weight and everything came a-tumbling down. It was so freakin' heavy just trying to get it back up again. And sadly, my cherry tomatoes are still GREEN! T.T Gah, I guess next week I'll take a batch down and place it in a brown paper bag and hope it'll turn red. At this rate, I won't get to try sun drying them for sundried tomatoes. The weather hasn't been all that summery this season....

My pretty arugula flowers. Aren't the petals gorgeous? They're almost lace-like.

This is the first and oldest batch on my cherry tomato plant. The ones I'll place in a brown paper bag next week.

Also, here's what's considered a quality/perfect tomato! I think mine looks perfect other than it's color. -_-
